Aged Out Client Got Green Card Because We Never Gave Up
His mother was a beneficiary of an immigrant visa petition filed by her brother in 1990. In 2015, his mother, father and three (3) siblings were granted immigrant visas. But he was already 25 years old so his visa was denied. Feeling hopeless, he went to the Middle East to work. But we never gave up on his case. We argued with the US Embassy that although he was 25 years old, he should be considered as under 21 under the Child Status Protection Act. A year later, he got his green card.
